Accounts and profiles

We use your verified UW email to sign you in and identify eligible community activity. Your account email is never displayed publicly. You choose whether your builder profile is public or visible to verified UW community members. External links you add follow that visibility.

Projects and media

Public published projects can be viewed by anyone. Community projects require an active, verified UW account. Private projects and drafts are limited to authorized team members and administrators. Uploaded media follows the related profile or project’s visibility; previously issued media links may remain usable for up to five minutes after access changes.

Support and moderation

We store support timestamps, referral attribution, project reports, and moderation decisions to keep participation fair. Public counts do not expose individual supporters. Administrators can review this activity and invalidate fraudulent support.

Analytics and email

We record basic page and participation events to understand whether the platform helps students connect and build. Browser analytics use a random session identifier and optional referral tags. We do not use a device fingerprint. An optional analytics provider may receive those same event fields when configured. Email updates require a separate opt-in and can be changed in your settings.

Launch policy status

This describes the implemented platform behavior. Before public launch, Transcend must publish its approved data retention, account deletion request process, and privacy contact details.
