BUILD A COMMUNITY WORTH BELONGING TO

Community guidelines.

A few shared expectations help keep Transcend useful, welcoming, and fair.

Share thoughtfully.

Only publish content you have permission to share. Describe your project honestly, respect other people’s work, and avoid posting private information about others. Spam, harassment, misleading claims, and inappropriate content may be removed.

Support fairly.

One verified, active UW account can support a project once. Owners and team members cannot support their own project. Vote manipulation, coordinated fake accounts, and fraudulent support may lead to support invalidation, account suspension, or loss of Community Choice eligibility.

Competition rules are cycle-specific.

Community Choice only counts eligible support within a configured support window. A leading support count does not override competition eligibility or moderation review. The competition team publishes the wildcard policy for each cycle and reviews the result before finalizing a winner.

Help keep the community useful.

Use a project’s report option to flag a concern. Administrators review reports, can remove or restore projects, and retain an audit trail of moderation decisions. Detailed moderation ownership and appeal contacts must be confirmed before public launch.
